Calling all Men!!! Bill Lavin to deliver a talk on Making a Difference as a Man of Faith at St. Rose Parish in Newtown on Sunday, October 15th at 6:15 (doors open at 5:45).

Bill is a retired firefighter and former President of the NJ Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association who courageously led the Sandy Grounds Where Angels Play effort. This inspirational initiative delivered playgrounds in 26 Superstorm Sandy devastated Tri-State coastline communities to honor the memory of the 20 students and 6 educators slain at Sandy Hook.

He has championed numerous other kindness-based projects, serves on the board of several charitable organizations and is a co-founder of the 9/11 Fallen Heroes 5K Memorial Run. Come hear Bill, an incredible role model for all men, discuss how he achieved Peace Through Healing Others. He is the co-Author of Where Angels Live, Work and Play and will have signed copies of the book available at the event.

All men are invited to this evening of inspiration and hope. Join us in the Monsignor Weiss Gathering Hall immediately following the 5:00 p.m. Mass at St. Rose. Food and refreshments will be served.

Please call the Saint Rose Rectory at 203-426-1014 for information or to register. As in the past, there will be no charge for this evening, but we gently urge you to register in advance, so we can have an accurate headcount for what is sure to be a well-attended evening.
