707 Monroe Turnpike
On Good Friday, April 19tha at 7pm, the Living Stations will be performed for the 30th year at St Jude Parish on Monroe Turnpike in Monroe, Conn. For 20 of these years, the presentation has involved the efforts of exclusively St Jude parishioners. The energy, enthusiasm and commitment of this group of volunteers have never diminished over the years.
This reenactment of the Passion of Our Lord has been blessed with a great variety of participants. We have many young children, teenagers and adults of all ages, including many involved senior citizens. Some have been participating for every one of these 20 years. The many years of the Living Stations have seen the participation of families through several generations with parents, children and even grandchildren taking part over time.
Many parishioners describe this as one of their most treasured and inspirational devotions during the Lenten season. We look forward to once again this year showing our Faith and devotion by reenacting the Passion of Our Lord.
