Advent Reflection: There Is a Longing: Hearing the Whispers of Advent, with Fr. David Cinquegrani, C.P. Wednesday, Dec 11, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. or 6-9 p.m. Each of us has a longing in our hearts to encounter the presence of God in one form or another, to uncover and grasp what Ronald Rolheiser calls “the secret worth knowing.” Advent is not simply a time to get ready for Christmas; it’s the time for Christians to prepare their hearts and minds for the revelation of the Divine and to accept God’s indwelling in every moment. Join Fr. David in exploring our deep longing for the Savior, Emmanuel—among us and within us.
