BRIDGEPORT— The Connecticut Catholic Conference, in cooperation with the National March for Life and other pro-life organizations in our state, is sponsoring Connecticut’s first official March for Life event on March 23, 2022 at the State Capitol. “The March will be a time for Connecticut citizens to express their support for the life of the unborn and their opposition to euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide,” wrote Bishop Frank J. Caggiano in a recent memo. “Although the issues the March will address are controversial in our society, people of faith must speak the truth and follow the Gospel imperative to be a light unto the world. We will be joined by our brothers and sisters of all faiths in this major demonstration. We must send a strong message to our elected officials that there are many people who view life as a sacred gift from God from conception until natural death.” Pre-rally program begins at 9:30 am with the rally itself beginning at 12 noon at the capitol.
