How to Negotiate Salary, Compensation, and Employment Agreements

Zoom presentation

Thursday, February 10 to 7:00 to 8:15 PM

Since negotiating compensation is uncomfortable for many people, they avoid the conversation and risk not being paid fair market value. Another area where some people make themselves vulnerable is not clearly understanding the contents of an employment agreement they sign when joining an organization.

In this webinar, you will gain knowledge, resources, and practical tips on navigating salary discussions, as well as other aspects of employment offers. Furthermore, you will learn what elements to look for and how to understand an employment agreement before signing one.

TOPICS INCLUDE: Elements of total compensation

Identifying all aspects of the work

Researching comparable salaries

Knowing what to ask

What is negotiable

Negotiation techniques

Severance & Future employment protection

Restrictive covenants

Understanding impact of remote,

in-person, hybrid work

on compensation

How legal advice help
