Join the Church of the Assumption for its Lenten Mission on March 20 and 21, hosted by Father Josemaria Barbin.
Father Barbin, inspired by the life and example of St. Maximilian Kolbe, entered the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate in 2006. He went on to study philosophy and theology in Italy, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2017.
As a friar, he currently serves as Father Guardian and Postulant Master at the Marian Friary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Griswold, Conn., and is the vocations director for the U.S. delegation.
