Come attend “Catholic Women Throughout the Ages” at a women’s retreat at St. Matthew Church this January, hosted by the Catholic Daughters
Dr. Joan Kelly, professor of Catholic studies at Sacred Heart University, will explore women in the history of the church starting with the New Testament up through more contemporary times. We will ponder the women who remained faithful to Jesus at the foot of the Cross as well as women like Elizabeth Ann Seton and Katharine Drexel in more modern times. In our own country the vast network of Catholic Schools and Hospitals throughout the nation are a huge testament to the profound impact and role of women in the church through the ages.
Tickets are $20, and lunch will be served. To reserve tickets, please contact Nancy Piro at: firstname.lastname@example.org
