Annual Parish Picnic

The annual Parish Picnic will be held on Sunday, July 9, from 12:30p to 6:30p. In addition to the food, fun, and dancing, this picnic is an important fundraiser for our parish. Additionally, 25% of the profit from the picnic will be given to Merton House. Some items of note:

Volunteer some time—There are many ways to volunteer at the picnic. You can sign up online via the church website (starting June 10) or sign up after Mass this weekend or next at the tables set up on the side deck of the church. “Tent night”—Save the date and lend a hand on Wednesday, July 5, at 7pm, when we set up the tents and tables and chairs in the parking lot of the church.

Jewelry for the picnic—It’s that time of year again, to collect old/new/broken jewelry for the picnic, and we need whatever you might have to give. Please enclose your name and phone number with your donation so anything valuable can be returned to you. To donate, either call Mary Anne Sulik at 203-877-6573 for a pickup or drop off your jewelry in the box so marked on the back porch of the rectory before Sunday, June 25. The picnic is on Sunday, July 9. It will be here before we know it! Thank you!

White Elephant Items—We are collecting treasures to sell in the White Elephant booth at our annual Picnic (July 9)—just about anything EXCEPT electrical items, cribs, car seats, large furniture, clothing, or sports/exercise equipment. Items may be dropped in front of the middle garage of the parking lot.
