Mayor Rilling, Stew Leonard, Jr., and other Norwalk business leaders join Good Counsel Malta House to host For the Love of Babies:  A Casual Friday Dinner

Good Counsel Malta House, a residence in East Norwalk for homeless pregnant and parenting mothers of all faiths and their children, will hold a fundraising event:  For the Love of Babies:  A Casual Friday Dinner at the St. Ann Club, 16 Hendricks Avenue in Norwalk on Friday, February 23. Tickets are $50 per person and are on sale now through the Good Counsel Malta House website, www.maltahouse.org/events.

The evening will consist of a family-style dinner served by “celebrity” wait staff:  Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling and First Lady Lucia Rilling, Stew Leonard, Jr., Norwalk Fire Chief Gino Gatto, Town Clerk Rick McQuaid, members of the Knights of Columbus, and many other local business leaders.  In addition to dinner, which includes salad, entrée, dessert, beer and wine, there will be an introduction to the work of Good Counsel Malta House, a DJ, dancing, and trivia games with prizes.

Proceeds from the evening go directly to supporting the programs and services offered to the mothers and babies who have called Malta House ‘home’ since 1998.
