HAMDEN—Get into the Christmas spirit at the 43rd annual Holly Berry Festival juried craft fair on November 19 and November 20 at Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden.
Hosted by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Holly Berry Festival showcases local crafters, as well as handcrafted wares, specialty foods and baked goods made by the Sisters. Event proceeds benefit the retired and infirm Apostle Sisters.
This year’s festival will feature more than 50 crafters from Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts across a variety of categories, including holiday and home décor, jewelry, apparel, sweet treats, and more. Shoppers will also find a range of items made by the Sisters, including festival favorites like pickled eggplant, fresh fruit jams, and award-winning apple pies—all made using locally-grown produce.
Many of the handcrafted items made by the Sisters will be available for purchase during an online pre-sale November 12-17 at www.hollyberry.org.
Other highlights include a Main Raffle drawing with a grand prize of $1,000 in Visa gift cards, gift basket raffles, and a Christmas tree raffle. Although there will not be a food court this year, a limited to-go menu will be available both days.
Festival hours are 3-8 pm on November 19 and 10 am – 3 pm on November 20. Admission and parking are free. In compliance with the Town of Hamden, face masks are required indoors.
