Our Lady of Fatima-Wilton 2018 Masquerade Ball Gala to Honor Parish and School Religious Education Director Kathleen Rooney.
Our Lady of Fatima-Wilton Home School Association (HSA) will hold its 2018 Gala Fundraiser on Saturday April 21st at the Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield. This year’s event, a Masquerade Ball, will feature a live jazz band, dinner, dancing, open bar (beer and wine) and an exciting live auction. In addition, HSA Co-Event chairs Carrie Shaffer and Joanne Salageanu announced the event will begin a new tradition of honoring someone who has made a difference to the school community and who exemplifies the school’s “the service above self” motto. This year’s festivities will celebrate the contributions of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and School Religious Education Director, Kathleen Rooney.
Rooney has been a Fatima parishioner for over 39 years and has been dedicated to the youth of the parish and school for over 33 years. She began her service as Director of Religious Education in 1985 and has taught in the Fatima School since 1993.
